This was very fun, it would be a good show to see, it was about Lisa who was trying to introduce books instead of kids watching TV, it was enjoyable to play around with this.

18 Zoho

Well , yes I can now mark off another one - another one bites the dust. I think I like this Zoho, but it is remembering all the sign in's and passwords, thank goodness I wrote them down. I need to spend more time playing with Zoho. But now I have an account I can always go in and have another play - and discover more, and after all isn't that what it is all about. Continue on to the next challenge. I think if people become aware of ZOHO I think i will be a useful tool.

16 and 17

Well I now have a Wiki, I do see how it will be useful for borrowers of the Library - that's if they learn to use it. And I guess that's what we are learning all this for, so we can give them a hand. I have also added my Blog to PBwiki's favourite's page. Now on to the next one, the challenge goes on - I realise that I have missed the prizes, but they were only an incentive to get it finished in time, now I shall just plod along. Hope all goes well.

Week 6 : Tagging, Folksonomies & Technorati

All of this week - what with the Technorati and all the other gobbly gook, I tell you it all gets a bit much you have to remember so many different sign ins. All of this might be alright if you are a student as you can find heaps of stuff. But personally - not real sure how useful it will be for me. But at least Im having a go, well at least now my podcasts are working - I even had trouble getting that to work.
Well now I can start on week 7 - I do understand the use for it all and yes it can be useful in the right areas. Lets continue on!!!

Rollyo

Yes, I have succeeded in doing a Rollyo, well did we have a bit of a disaster trip along the way. My setting decided to go into another language - not only did I struggle with the Rollyo thing I also had to manage reading gobbly gook.
However this is all a learning curve - so they tell me. If it wasnt for the whole language muck up I would of sailed through ROLLYO.

Library Thing

Well now I have learnt how to create my own Library - I might have to come back and have a bit more of a play with this one, when I have some more time. I learnt how to put on a I widget, I tell you what all this technology, and getting your head around all the lingo is a bit difficult - but I will get there.

Bairnsdale Library

Hello there - if you look at my other workmates blogs, you would of probably seen this photo before - but I just wanted to have a play. I have worked here for over 18years - the building hasn't changed any it is a heritage listed building. One day we are hoping to move to a bigger library - but if the day ever comes, it will be sad to leave the old building.

Bloglines

Well - even though it has taken me a long time to get back into this, life is very busy. I did find this a bit confusing - I did require some help. But I got there eventually. Now I go to the next step. Lets see how long this one takes me to do....

Hello there,
well after how many weeks I have actually had a go at Flickr, I ran into a few problems as I didnt do it on the correct week - infact a few weeks late. Then I couldnt remember how to use it all, so I made a deal with myself to go in and have a play each week. My photos that I have uploaded are in the viclibraries yahoo address. I didnt make up a yahoo account. Im waiting for my my photos to be added then I will try to transfer them over to my Blog if I can.
So wish me luck with the rest of my adventure, hopefully I will be more in touch with it all in the near future.

First attempt

Well I ran into a few problems setting up my blog, I first used the wrong blog address - but all should be right to go ahead now. I need to attempt to put a photo in- god knows how Im gonna go with this, watch this space and I will keep you in touch..
